Let’s get to work. Lisbon. Day 3 and 4.

On day 3 I moved to the apartment, my team members and I will live in while being in Lisbon. It’s a little nuts, but I’ll get to that another time.

At night, one of my team members arrived and it didn’t take too long before we felt back into a product discussion though we sat on a hill, had a glass of wine or two, and a beautiful view all over Lisbon. Vacation was over, here comes the work life. The reason we’re here.

Today, we got to Beta-i (our Co Working Space) on time at 9. We had a chat with the people we already knew and at 10 the first workshop with Adi Azaria, who is a co founder of SiSense, started. Though his business model is far away from Stuffle’s one, it was extremely interesting and good to listen to him.

He explained how they manage to sell a data analysis system over the phone to some of the biggest companies in the world, explained their strategy and how they deal with rejection. As said, it is not exactly our case as it is B2B and we have a B2C product, but it’s good to know and it’s on us to make the best out of that knowledge.

The rest of the day, we spent doing the stuff we also do in Germany: Work. And it goes pretty well thanks to different chats, emails and google drive.

It after 7 pm now and people are starting to leave. But most of them still sit here. It is kind of cool not be alone in an office with „just“ your team. The guys who are sitting across from me just got their first angel investment today and are really happy, we released a new feature and are a good bit excited, others apply for funding, others are mad at their designers,…

All kinds of things are happening and it’s exciting to be in the middle of it.
